Ramadan - The Month Sacred

Ramadan - The sacred month of peace 

and pristine serenity

The Almighty imprisons the Devil

So the believers have a tranquil sanctity

From Satan's demeaning, prevailing evil.

How much more easier could it be? To be good, commit not a sin?

Allah is great, Who loves His creation to indefinable lengths

Do good, hold fast, and God's love, thee would win!

Pray five times, and more 

with all your heart and strengths.

Spend not time and wealth in trivial frivolities

In its stead, help the poor, give charity

Zakat - one of the pillars of Islam 

hence, fulfill your bounded duties

The Nights of Power, blessed they are 

pray in them with clarity.

Sadly, though, the month has to bid us farewell

But, ye believers, bid farewell not to thine deeds good

Be strong faithed, gain Heaven, not Hell

The month not being a ritual, but much more 

than just making thee grateful for food.

Disappoint not Allah, The Eternal, The Almighty

Be as constant as the Sun, the Northern Star

Not ritualistically, but, with love devoted - 

all year round, and thou shall overcome heights mighty

And, the best community you shall be 

without a par.

The month ends, rewarded you will be

Eid-ul-Fitr embraces all believers with a smile

Thank The Almighty, for, The most bounteous is He! 

Who gives man chances, so, man gains place 

in the Seventh Sky's highest Isle.
